The gameplay concepts you know and love have all been replicated here, and they've been wrapped up in glorious 3D. The good thing is that SimCity BuildIt shows the class of the original game, albeit tangled up inside the modern day web of XP points, game currency, and paywalls.įans of the original game series won't be disappointed with SimCity BuildIt.
You could even argue that none of these games would exist had SimCity not come on the scene all those years ago.įinally the original and best city building game is here, though. The likes of City Story, Megapolis, Clash of Clans, and even The Simpsons: Tapped Out, have set off a new era of do-it-yourself town planning simulations. It's strange that it's taken so long for SimCity to join the smartphone and tablet party, especially given that app store is already saturated with city building games.
